		<description>From what I&#039;ve heard Michael Pollan himself is a pretty reasonable intelligent guy, even when I disagree with him (and that&#039;s taking into account he seems to have started the popularity of bashing corn). But parts of the movement that formed itself around his books... well I wouldn&#039;t use either intelligent or reasonable to describe them.</description>

I appreciate what Michael Pollan is trying to do, but he has reached a kind of god-like status for a lot of people, which can&#039;t be healthy.</description>
